Tv is big business in the states. Plus you have the soccer
moms that write letters and the nervous sponsers. All these
things get in the way of risk takers.

The stuff that makes me laugh the most are the Connan
O'brien skits. Most of you probably don't get to see him.
Since most of you don't even know what SNL is.

I'm guessing now it means Saturday Night Live. Never seen
it, don;t know what's on it, but heard the name.

The best sitcom ever is Only Fools And Horses.

bogula I like from the fact one person didn't get your SNL
abbreviation that "most of you don't even know what SNL is"

Saturday Night Live, is OK. Nothing special and hardly
cutting edge humour.

I think recent SNL sucks. Phil Hartman. Chris Farely years
were the best. IMHO

Gilliam only made the cartoons. he may have directed on some
of the films, but never on the tv-series. neither did he
write for the series.

English comedy shows rule for sure: the office, ali g show,
monthy, alan partridge etc.
I guess the US make a lot more comedy shows than england
does, and most of them suck (they usually are a bit to'cute'
wich annys me), but Seinfeld, Simpsons and Futurama are
great.

americans fuck humour up the ass (three words: married with
children) just like most else they lay their dirty mits on.

sure what hope is there when they can't even spell the
fucking word.
