filming...

hevquip from 45 angry wasps throats on 2002-01-18 22:30 [#00071896]

i want one of those cameras that are good for filming...not
the crappy home recorder type though. the ones that they
make movies with. i've heard they're expensive, but i'd
still like to look around.

I want one of those split second animation cameras where you
take snap shots of something and play them in sequence like
wallace and grommit.

You could "configure" it's animation speed to be the same
with the speed of whatever software you use to make music,
then you could have some action in the film take place at
the same exact time as a sound.

yeah...stop and go animation is fun to make.

maybe i could stick some saran-wrap over the lense of a
normal vid. camera, give it that un-videotape look.

maybe i could also steal vid. cameras from a performance
arts school...or just take some film classes.

check ebay.
and m, what you are talking about is called stop-motion
animation. i took a class of it in high school. a digital
camera and a computer would be the best way to go about it!
WAY cheaper than a stop motion camera~!

well, i dont want a stop motion camera. i was just
mentioning it. i want one of those camera's that uses film
and not videotape. i have some old, crappy super8? that
doesn't record sound and needs a projector to work, but
that's not what i want to use.

how about a rapid fire digital camera, is there one you can
get which takes pics in quick succession(sp?).

then download multi images onto the computer, that might be
less exspensive.
