i bought the donkey rhubarb ep quite a while ago. the funny thing is that on the inside of the cover there are lyrics by a band called EXILED... and there are photos of the band members. Four with e-guitars and one in the middle with long hair and beard (without guitar and looking grumpy). at first i thought this would be some production error. but i liked closely at the photos again... and the grumpy-looking one, that's richard d. james, without doubt. another band member looks so much like tom jenkinson. the band 'is' from germany:
matthias 'brot' brodt vocals (must be aphex) markus 'begga' beck (that's tom jenkinson) markus 'magge' frühbauer udo 'u.d.o.' beck patrick 'padde' schwenkel
i'm sure that's poking fun on wanna-be heavy metal/ death metal bands by rich, and he said that he's made up fake-bands with his pals.
there are four songs, but of course only the lyrics (alternate titles for the aphex tracks?)
Unseen Paradise Grave of mud Dawning of new times Live fast, die young
has anyone a similar copy of donkey rhubarb like mine here? has every copy that on the inside? (i often thought of checking out other copies at record-stores, but until now, i didn't) i also searched in the net for the band, but of course it doesn't exist.
ok here are also some of the credits:
special thanx: bernd 'manna kaufad pfanna' hasebrink, dirk 'so isch des' leibfarth, (...), pizza nr.20, (...)
kreetinx to:
all ex-members of Exiled, and all members and ex-members of: destiny, from beyond, loonatik, golgatha, it can swin, diabolic force...
cheers,
balthus

ok, i guess i have a rare version of that ep (or the cover), because no one (almost) did reply. if that is so, it's a bit creepy, though.
i guess i will send a scan of it to phobiazero...

no, it's a cd... i bought it at a local record store.
the weird thing is the amount of x's on that booklet. x in exiled (and the there are kreetinx to all ex-members etc). the photos of the band members are arranged in the form of an x, and in the centre of the x, there is richard d. james. the x obviously is a hint for the x in aphex.
it's strange at first i thought it's an error of production. i have the cd now for 1 and 1/2 years, and only recently i thought about the inside of the booklet again...
btw, i have sent a scan of it to phobiazero.
