release date 14sep2004 on Saddle Creek
faint-wet from birth

another solid effort from one of my favourite bands by now

80s have never sounded so good, not even in the 80s

u know when ure listening to some album for the first time,
and yet u have the feeling uve been listening to it for
ages, because its impossible that u havent heard it before,
how catchy it seems, well thats the characteristic of a real
pop masterpiece

respect!

I LOOOOOVE The Faint. They're sooooo effing rad. I heard
about them about a half year ago. I like Saddle Creek for
the most part.

i played the faint at work the other day as a rebuttal to a
womans comment about beck that "you could never pick up
chicks with this. its depressed cowboy music."

the faint make boobies BOUNZE!

Yeah. They make my boobies bounce...like whoa. But I like
Beck. Even though he's a scientologist....

of course you like beck! everyone does (except for that
woman). i think she just was put off by one foot in the
grave while painting and patching walls.

oh god, the opening synth line in 'take me to the hospital'
is fucking INFECTIOUS!

Beck is one of my current favourite artists... : )
which one were you playing?

from the songs i know (the singles... Agenda Suicide, Glass
Danse, I Disappear, Birth) The Faint sounds a lot more
depressed to me - but some kinda ironic and kinda cool kind
of depressed.

as i said " i think she just was put off by one foot in
the
grave while painting and patching walls."
and i do think
one foot in the grave is indeed depressing cowboy music.

but its beck playing depressing cowboy music so its a-ok

ok... i don't have this one (i have all albums except One
Foot In The Grave and Stereopathetic Manure). people have
been telling me that it's great though, so i'll be checking
it out someday.

i've been playing Sea Change almost everyday lately...
