imdb.com

i rented this on video - it's a 1991 tv show with a very
surreal sense of humor. it's directed by john lurie, who
goes fishing with his friends (including jim jarmusch, tom
waits, dennis hopper, etc) in various places around the
world. but it isn't really about fishing at all - it's more
of a twisted,experimental-comedy show with bizarre montages
and out-of-place sound dubs and subtle, deadpan humour.

it's quite a good show, but i think you just have to see it
for yourself to "get it". anyone else seen it?

yes, i found the first two episodes to be the funniest, but
all were really great. highly recommended show.
