i live in the south of sweden and now that we got the "öresundsbron" and all, i was thinking that kopenhagen(capital of denmark) is kinda huge and there must be at least a lot of recordstores. anyone from around here know of any good ones? by good i mean with aphex stuff =) |

living in denmark... i guess the best place to look is a place called "tp musikmarkede" it has got some fairly mainstream rdj stuff. i have seen the following: Richard d james album (european) come to daddy i care because you do selected ambient works volume one... by some strange reason theyve got shitloads of kraftwerk there! also check out M&M shop... not a single aphex twin album but i found shit like dmx krew, bogdan raczynski, squarepusher, autechre, two lone swordsmen! so also worth a look... theres a nice equipment shop somewhere i cant remember 2! so i guess there is some things to check out for ya i found that a trustable online cd shop is better.. youll get what you come for! www.bol.dk/dk/ got some good shit! |

Are there two shops? I can only find one adress, Hyskensträde 9 Köbenhavn.. Please help me, if they realy have all the nice records in the search engine i realy wanna go there soon =) |

There are two shops called loud music. the one in hyskenstræde is concertrated about house/drumm and bass/lounge/dancy music sort of thing. you should also check it out. but the store i think you would be interested in is the one in magstræde. it has got basicly anyting you could ask for in electronica! offcourse aphex twin! i even saw the "help aphex twin" md´s, but didnt buy them because i didnt know what it was, and dont have minidisc (these are rare if i´m informed correctly?). www.loudmusic.dk as i said, check out the homepage, and see what theyve got. They havent got any really rare aphex twin, but they got about 16-17 of the most popular. beware! european version of richard d james album lacking a couple of tracks!!! i got mine from amazon.com so i got the american version.... you can also sign in on the newsletter, and get updated with their stock. does it sound like i work for them or what? hehe. its just because i really love the shop. theire always friendly, and they are music geeks like myself, and know a lot. by the way, on their homepage i cant see the adress for magstræde? weird, i know its there!!!! but go ahead and ask some friendly looking native chicks or something for "Magstræde", and theyll point direction im sure. its not way of "strøget". |
