since visiting that virus topic, my internet explorer has
stopped working. luckily i downloaded mozilla before that
happened.

mozilla is slow as hell and messes up pages. i was able to
live with it until now; recently, i can't seem to access a
lot of sites that i frequent.

this same problem happens with firefox. i tried to download
opera but it won't let me access the site.

my biggest priority is to get internet explorer working
again, since it's the best of them. second would be to
access sites with the moz.

if no one has any idea how to help with those, then i'll
need someone to send me opera.

please help.

*sad face

If the sites aren't viewable in firefox/mozilla then it's
the site's fault, not the browser. Saying that, I use
firefox and I haven't noticed any sites that are rendered
incorrectly. Anyway... if IE is the best browser, how come
it "stops working" for seemingly no reason? It's hard to
suggest anything when that's all you've said.

it's not slow as fuck like moz, and the only time i've ever
had a problem with it was when some mozilla loving guy
fucked it up.

my problem is that i can't ACCESS SITES. i get 'rejected' by
them.

this is what i see when i use internet explorer:

The page cannot be displayed
The page you are looking for is currently unavailable. The
Web site might be experiencing technical difficulties, or
you may need to adjust your browser settings.

Please try the following:

Click the Refresh button, or try again later.

If you typed the page address in the Address bar, make sure
that it is spelled correctly.

To check your connection settings, click the Tools menu, and
then click Internet Options. On the Connections tab, click
Settings. The settings should match those provided by your
local area network (LAN) administrator or Internet service
provider (ISP).
If your Network Administrator has enabled it, Microsoft
Windows can examine your network and automatically discover
network connection settings.
If you would like Windows to try and discover them,
click Detect Network Settings
Some sites require 128-bit connection security. Click the
Help menu and then click About Internet Explorer to
determine what strength security you have installed.
If you are trying to reach a secure site, make sure your
Security settings can support it. Click the Tools menu, and
then click Internet Options. On the Advanced tab, scroll to
the Security section and check settings for SSL 2.0, SSL

you're right, it is their fault but there is plenty of sites
that don't like mozilla. also, on extreme cases you will
still need to use IE to view any content they contain. for
example, you can't use mozilla to do a windows update.

Firefox is much faster than IE on my machine, and uses less
resources. If you think it's slow it's probably your
computer. I'm not really sure about what's causing that
problem, but you should check IE's connection settings and
obviously scan for spyware and shit.

i did. and my problem with mozilla/firefox proves that it's
not invincible.

please download opera and aim it to me before i collapse
like a wave function.

I'm not gonna do that. Try this, You shoud also
try pinging www.opera.com in a command prompt, if that
doesn't work then the problem isn't at your end.

I have seen sites that render incorrectly in Moz/Firefox,
but again this is the fault of the site coders, not the
browser.
