kerry isnt' going to pull my friends out of iraq

Kerry understands that just pulling out of Iraq, at this
point, would be worse than having gone in in the first
place. He understands that we have started something and
now we have a responsibility to clean up the mess. And he
understands that America can not and should not do this
unilaterally.

You ought to read (if you didn't watch it on t.v.) Kerry's
speech from last night and Edward's speech as well. they
address much of your concerns. whether you believe them or
not is up to you, of course.

Last election, I felt very much the same as you. I was fed
up with politicians and the political system. And because
of this I did not vote. Consequently, Gore won my state's
electoral votes anyway and it didn't matter. But in other
states, people with the same attitude could have prevented
the Bush theft of the presidency had they voted. But
Kerry/Edwards show a clear desire to change campaigning at
the very least. To remain optimistic rather than
pessimistic. To be constructive and positive, a relief from
the old muck-raking mud-slinging of past elections.

again, you have to have an open mind and trust that it's not
all bull shit. I believe it's sincere. And I am an
educated man not just some mindless yokel.

If a kitten with a manifesto to "BE PATRIOTIC AND DESTROY
OUR ENEMIES" was up for election, it'd destroy Teh Bush ten
times over.

such a creature would not bother with a system of
democratically chosen leaders but simply run rampant over
the known world, surely..!
