Yep. I think its got something to do with one of the expansion ports. U can hook it up to the internet for online gaming and shit. Havent done it myself, so Im just guessing. |

It's got two USB sockets on the front - the same as a PC has. |

Those ports are for hooking it up to the specially designed hard drive which sony is released in the next few months, and the modem for it which is being released also. You cannot directly hook the ps2 up to a computer. |

The PS2 drive actually fits into the expansion bay inside, and youre right the modem connects using the USB port, and you cannot connect it to a PC. |

i bet there is a way w/ enough caffiene and reverse engineering... :P if those USB ports will have a "special" sony modem that will connect through the Internet.. then it'll use common Internet protocols that pcs use.. there has to be a way to trick the psx2 into thinking the comp in your room is a server comp on the net... |

I just got my ps2! GTA3 is fucking awesome I get FFX next week No School+FFX=me sitting in my boxers on the floor with a blanket wrapped around me eating a bowl of cereal at 4 A.M. with my eyes hurting from looking at the screen its going to be fucking great. |
