my favourite album from them is fevers and mirrors, except
for the last two songs. all of the songs (except those last
two) are very catchy and grrreat.

this thread is going to go nowhere.

I think "Fevers and Mirrors" is pretty good. I used to be
more into that kind of thing, but I haven't listened to it
in ages. I really like his stuff as Desparacedos.

it's emotional indie, you could say.

I really dislike emo now. Mass-marketed pretension.

i'd say idm is more pretentious, though not as mass
marketed. it is mass produced, however, which makes
it worse in my bright eyes.

I still don't know exactly which bands make emo, but I'm
pretty sure I hate it... if the genre-name is descriptional,
I hate it...

therre is not a thing wrrong with music that is emotional.
some of the best music, the music that i love the most has
had a distinct emotional impact on me. the prroblem is that
emo is trrying to be emotional when in fact it's not. it's
borring clichéd shite.

Yeah, I said "I dislike emo now" but I never actually liked
it before. It has no substance whatsoever and its horrible
"scene" is based entirely on fashion.

yeah.. I meant the fact that it was emotional rock...
ALL rock is "emotional," so I guessed that this type of rock
was just "cheesy" instead...

i heard some bright eyes the other day. I thought they
should have called themselves wet eyes, because the
music/singing made me weep, and not in the good way.

I'm glad you appreciated it, but honestly it wasn't a joke.
It was like that kind of crying that happens when you cut
onions, but from listening to music instead.

Blah, never cared for Bright Eyes. I'll stick with my
Shiner and Houston for now.

I hate bright eyes and everything 'he/they/it/who the fuck
cares' stands for.
