|REFLEX| from Edmonton, Alberta, Canada on 2002-01-16 14:23 [#00070762]

I just picked up the Twin Peaks DVD collection for the First
Season, anyone know of, or enjoy this old show from 1990?
Its great. Amazing, if you know of it, grab it, its only
$80.

Anyone else got some DVDs with some killer new shit on them?

Jarworski from Wales on 2002-01-16 14:26 [#00070764]

Amazing!!!! I've been meaning to get those dvd's for ages..

Man, I remember going to a shop before and they had the
entire series (every episode) on video, all in two oak
cases...fucking stunning, £95... and I decided against it!
TWAT!

|REFLEX| from Edmonton, Alberta, Canada on 2002-01-16 14:28 [#00070767]

Yes, Twin Peaks is amazing! I doubt that the second season
is out on DVD, nor is the Pilot episode - I want both of
those, although the first seasons is great for now. The
packaging is awsome as well, great DVD for the growing
collection. There was that movie too, oh what was the
name....

Fire Walk With Me - I didn't think too much of that, though
the Fantomas cover version of the title track is great...

|REFLEX| from Edmonton, Alberta, Canada on 2002-01-16 14:31 [#00070772]

Ok, I hadnt seen it. Wont buy it then, just rent it and see.
I highly reccomend the first season on DVD.. amazing! Great
everything.

|REFLEX| from Edmonton, Alberta, Canada on 2002-01-16 14:34 [#00070775]

Twin peaks was great cus it had so many memorable characters
and side stories.

Lars von Trier made a similar tv series that was called
"Kingdom"
the story took place in a haunted hospital and was packed
with different nutty characters and scary stuff!!!
His greatest work in my opinon.
It's also awalible on DVD now.

|REFLEX| from Edmonton, Alberta, Canada on 2002-01-16 14:46 [#00070784]

Ha, david is a great film maker..... thats funny.

Hm, Twin Peaks... yes it is great. Its like a soap opera..

david lynch owns.

he directed dune, great movie! also eraserhead, lost
highway, and twean peaks were awsome. i've yet to see
mulholland dr though... i would ask what it is about but its
prolly hard to explain, if it can even be explained.. :P

Clobe Smith from over here on 2002-01-17 03:04 [#00071068]

i've only seen the first season of twin peaks, and some of
the second. i love it. the cameo david lynch does is
great too. it's perfect the way he plays it

his movies kick ass too. they're all just a head trip. me
and some friends watched lost highway after we smoked and
were just lost in it

|REFLEX| from Edmonton, Alberta, Canada on 2002-01-17 03:37 [#00071075]

Lost Highway can be explained to a certain extend. But after
a while you do get lost in it. Thats cool though.

Baron Von Picklefoot from From my "special" place on 2002-01-17 03:48 [#00071078]

Color we seethrough and tickle my favoret inch turn the
ringer off and thank god for David lynch !!!!!THE BARON HAS
SPOKEN!!!!!!

DubleOSyx from The East on 2002-01-17 06:47 [#00071107]

Lost Highway cannot be explained. As soon as you come up
wih an explaination you remember something else and it just
ruins it. I've owned the movie since you could buy it and I
still can't figure it out. That just keeps it worth
watching, and I suppose that could also have something to do
with the name...
