Cool. I lived there for a year, teaching English, and met a
girl there so I'm going back to teach English for another
year in September. It is a very special place!

Erm, no. They're just photos.

I'm not usually impressed by photography on the web, too
often it all looks the same, but these pics are excellent.
Very atmospheric, it'd be nice to design a custom web
photogallery to show off some of those images, but yes,
marvellous.

Moniod: If you can't see "deeper meaning" it's not becasue
the photos are shallow...

The graffiti that says 'The best thing to do is just go
away' is genius

Thanks for the kind comments man.

Of course, none of the graffiti (which I suppose is the real
genius in most of the pictures) is actually by me. I can't
quite work out why so much graffiti in Lithuania is in
English and not in Lithuanian.

I'd love to make a proper website for my music and photos,
but alas I have neither the time nor the know-how.

You mean you could write me a site or you could show me how?
I don't have any webspace or anything like that either
though, and I have very little free time at the moment :)

Man, that one was weird. I didn't notice the old woman
staring until I got the camera home and looked at the
photos. It was quite eerie..............

Yeah man, they're digital.

I've got loads more photos and I really want to put them
online into some kind of website. Thing is, I have no idea
how to make websites or anything. Does anyone have any
advice.

By the way, if anyone wants to use any of the photos for
artwork or anything, let me know.

its ok stuff, photographers are really over rated most of
the time, cause its just a photo, its hard.. very hard for
anyone to impress me with photos.. cause its not that hard
to take good ones.

I know what you mean. It's not that difficult at all really
to take good photos.

That doesn't mean they can't be great to look at. I agree
though, usually I think it's more to do with subject matter
and technical ability/equipment than any creative element
from the photographer.

And as for making a website, you may just want to look into
one of these free hosts like hostmb.com, they make it pretty
straight forward to make pages of photos and whatnot.

I think it's cause you haven't been looking at good
photography. Shit that hasn't been done with a digital
camera and developed in a chemical bath by professionals.
It's really hard to do good b&w photos, too. Most intro b&w
photography looks a muddy gray.

you think they're bad?

Is there any way I can get larger pictures of the "Rock 'N'
Roll" and Frank Zappa ones? I would love to have these as
wallpaper; they're great shots.

Thanks a ton - digestion@gmail.com if you can :)
