Fuck me, this is the best music ever made, right?
Yes.

A Breach of Contract (incredible FM synths)
Sniper (electro funk)
Sleight of Hand
There is No Time to Lose (sick bass on this one)
Go with the Stream

The soundtrack alone makes this the best RTS ever (or
whatever this bizarre game is). I was like 7 when I played
it for the first time, and I had no idea what I was doing.
But the MUSIC. The MUSIC.

All of those Tecnosoft games had great music, really... the
same guy that did Herzog must have done the incredible
Thunderforce music, too. There's just something about that
Genesis soundchip. Renovation was also good, another
obscure-ish company that made some awesome Genesis music.

There is no Time to Lose is sweet, it reminds me of The
Fucking Champs or someone. I do prefer the SNES chip to the
Genesis, but I love that 16bit sound "whatever the weather".

THUNDERFORCE IV!!!111

I've said it before and i'll say it again, that game had
some hot-ass /\/\uz1k. I'll have to...uh..."acquire" the
herzog zwei rom and give it some listenings.

Thunderforce 3 had some wicked tracks too.... and track
titles, whoo!

The Wind Blew All Day
Back to the Fire
The Grubby Blue Dark (what the fuck?)
Venus Fire
Truth

Great music. The SNES soundchip was awesome too, but it
seems to have been too good sometimes, a lot of devs got
lazy and put out some pussy music on it. The Genesis had a
lot of edgy stuff.

But stuff like Kirby's Dreamland 3 is some of the best music
ever made, period. Full stop.

Hey, how do I record sound on my computer, turn it into an
MP3 kinda thing? The Thunderforce 4 GYM file from Zophar is
fucked up, don't listen to it... if you do, you'll see what
I mean. Tempo is skippy, synths are weak.

I want to use the sound test on the TF4 ROM on the emulator
and record the sound as an MP3 or something. Is there a
program I need?

(I've tried the built in GTM generator in Gens, but it
doesn't work right)
