Hello everyone.

I'm back from my holiday. In summary:

- Switzerland: very pretty, quiet, expensive pubs and lots
of forests. Went to see jamie liddel and senor coconut.

- Amsterdam: a friendly city, huge split between touristy
bits and the rest of the place though. Got very stoned and
wandered around the red light district at night. TOTAL
SENSORY OVERLOAD.

- Paris: again, massive split between tourist paris and the
other bits. A none-too-friendly atmosphere, but lots of
stuff to see and do, and the metro is like being inside
noise music.

Anyway, i hope you are all well and happy.

I didnt feel like paris was unfriendly at all. when I went
there was this huge music festival going on, and there were
bands on the street (real bands w/ amps and drums... not
beggers) and everyone was just dancing and having a good
time.

even in other areas

but maybe that was because I was with someone who spoke
french pretty decently

Aye, 'twas pretty nice to be away from the hellhole hometown
for a while. Incidentally, i heard some nice music in paris,
mostly from buskers on the metro... one old blind dude
playing accordion on the way to the airport was absolutely
amazing.

Marly, freiborg, gruyere, bern and geneva. The last three
were insanely expensive, touristsy and a bit shit, the first
two were friendly, very beautiful and all-around lovely. I
liked them a lot.

the lake of gruyere is quite amazing, really long and this
christal green color... it's where a famous cheese comes
from wich is why it's gotten to be quite touristy, especialy
depending on where abouts you go.

atm i'm at the other end of the lake leman from geneva in
montreux, most relaxed, lovely air, great view but very
boring wich suits me fine as i have better to do than go out
clubbing or what have you.

Yeah the gruyere lake is very pretty. I actually visited a
cheese museum there too :D It smelled very strange, kind of
a cross between fondue and cowpats.

Get yourself to the bois de boulogne. Rowing on the lake
there is one of the most peaceful and relaxing things i have
ever done. I didn't see all that much of paris, only there
for 4 days, but the view from the top of the (admittedly
touristy) sacre coeur cathederal is beautiful. The metro is
cool too.

Also: mister mertens: i am working on more musique. I am
going to do an album and spam it to motherfuckery.
