i have heard their stuff from time to time, but i recently got their debut release obviously self-titled, and it knocked me socks off mate.
big ups to m83, some french dudes who know how to compose as well as all the other stuff too, respect!

Their self titled is good, but has way too many tacky vocal tricks. I'm Getting Better is so damn good, though.
And they were getting better, better Dead Cities is phentastic.

my friend recommended dead cities to me. well, i didn't like it at all. the song titles seemed to coincide with the synths that were used on said tracks. they were cheesey.

Duhhhhhhhhhhh! The thing is as melodramatic as the Young and the Restless. You need to be the right state of mind, mesh and gel, be one with the cheese.
