Wandered into tower records on wicklow street today and
noticed a warp poster lurking behind one of the armchairs in
the sit-down-and-read-shit-you're-not-going-to-buy area...
There's a free gig in Whelans of Wexford street on the 22nd
of this month, Chris Clark is playing -- i've never heard
his stuff, heard the name, but not his material... Just
wondering is it any good?

Also on the 7th august there's static & the bug in the
shelter vicar st for €17... dunno if i'll bother with
this; have the soundmurderer & the bug peel session and the
bug just wrecks my head. I'm able to ignore his voice in the
smojphace remix but i don't think i could stand a whole nite
of the guy..

yeah dude, chris clark is fucking quality. well, in my
opinion anyway.
if its free then its well worth going for definete,
especially if Chris Clark's gonna be there. you should check
out his "clarence park" album. its fantastic. check out the
track called "bricks" my fave!
also, the bug isnt a rapper, thats just the name of the guy
who makes the tunes.
17 euro is a bit steep though....

same shit though.

its kinda just what i'd call classic electronic music.
good use of technology, great melodies, some superb
programming.
i love it.

boring..

oh dear :/

i had worries that it might be so, with a name like "Chris
Clark". sounds like some sort of celebrity-dj monstrosity :/

many people like him, so you better check him out.

i can't stand it though, im more entertained listening to
britney spears - honestly :)

OHH that reminds me i need to download 'toxic'.

did i just say that aloud? :/

seriously.. it's something about the violin riff and the
vocal melody in the chorus .. it's well-written stuff for
once. not just catchy but interesting. :)

please disregard all this :)

for whats it's worth clark was better than plaid and
squarepusher live, the only one better live that i have seen
was vibert
