Where's the best place online to buy records from labels
like Skam, Warp, Schematic aside from Warpmart if you live
in North America? Anyone want to drop some urls?

i can ususally get everything i want at the record store/or
have tjem order it for me

i dont know what shipping is in canada, but any order is
$3.00 in the usa
forced entry

ive ordered a few things from skam, they seem nice/fast
ive ordered a few things from warpmart, got a few xtras

both skam/warp get a little pricey when delivering to the
states :(

this is forced exposure, and the shipping is a flat rate
$4.50.

they are ok, the selction is good, but the customer service
is spotty (they've shipped to the wrong address, failed to
respond to inquiries, ignore emails about problems with
orders....)

also try othermusic.com in new york.

i've had really no problems with forced exposure besides a
few releases not being available that were on the site. and
they send emails notifying me of it.

othermusic on the other hand is pretty awful in my opinion.
i order 13 cds there and they only had two. and they didn't
bother to email me about it for a while.

brokephones, i've said it in other threads, forcedexposure
is probably the best you're going to find.

when i ordered from othermusic (only ordered once) there was
only one cd they didn't have. i try not to criticize based
on anecdotal experience, since i haven't ordered from all
sources equally. i've had problems with several sources,
including skimo and darla. i've had the most (though minor)
problems with forced exposure, but i've ordered from them
the most.

darla carries some artists that forced exposure doesn't;
freescha, for example.

i still recommend forced exposure, despite the problems i've
had.
