most of the icelanders i've met don't rate her that much. funny really.. guess maybe she's too familiar in your country. maybe icelanders get tired of her always being referenced - to a lot of people bjork is all they know of icelandic music. |

It's like her music: her music is really "alternative" and really "pop" at the same time. That's amazing !? Her acting is so "naive" and so so "true" at the same time !? Her fashion feel is so ugly and so original/great at the same time! And on another topic in this thread I have read in some article - her best selling album in Iceland was Gling-Glo - her low-key release of bjorkish jazzy standarts ! |

this album is terrible. she can't cover up her lack of songwriting skills with the vocals only gimmick, which really does sound like a gimmick. most of the songs sound like thoughtless bsides to her early albums. |

seems like its going to be a good album, but shes definitely going to get alot of shit from people for it. undeserved, judging from the preview tracks, which are all very good. |

fair enough... shame your dissapointed in it but from about 50% of the album i've heard so far I think its one of her best, i'll have to listen to the rest when its released but I think its going to be as good as Vespertine, for me anyway, which is all that matters really. |
