sooo... what are you planning on doing when/if you retire?
$100,000 in the bank in the us generates around 500 dollars
a month in interest, give or take inflation, by the time
that matters you are probably near death though.

So how far would 500 us dollars go in your country?

well, i'd like to travel more...that's about it.

and, umm, 500 is kinda not enough...i'd probably get through
month, but only coz i don't have to pay rent. i'd have to be
careful with spending though.

hey, just think, you'd probably have way more than 100,000
in the bank if it weren't for fucking social security.

Well yeah, i was thinking more along the lines of quitting
serious work once you have 100 grand in the bank... you'd be
pretty wealthy in mexico or thailand, but if you stayed in
the us it might only take care of your rent, for everything
else you would need to have a job, but you could work
goof-off jobs from then on if you wanted.

Any that serve alcohol...although on occassion I have been
dragged to posh places full of footballers and soap stars
that I haven't really wanted to be at...they are too
expensive and they don't normally have pool tables.

I'll probably sit in home and do very little then go for a
short walk and then do more of the same.
It's a regular thing with me.
