EPISODA III [cunningham]

Geoerge Lucus has folded on his upcoming project and handed
the position of director over to Chris Cunningham.
Cunningham has agreed, alledgedly stating "only if we can
have cannibals, delinquent robots and alien porn." This will
undoutably be a classy movie now.

The only way to make episode 3 any good, is to take all the
outtakes and deleted footage from the original three films
and paste it all together. If anyone thinks crappy CGI
dominated films will still be watched, discussed or even
remembered in 10 years time is wanking into the wrong cup.

agreed, the overkill of CGI sucks ass, all the digital stuff
takes out the warmth of the originals, as does the lack of
humour.

The originals were done that way because that was the best
technology available then - do you think any film maker back
then was using sophisticated models and matte paintings to
do complex scenes like in Star Wars? Of course not... George
was a pioneer back then, and he's a pioneer now, using the
most up-to-date techniques and technology available. There
were still model shots in Attack Of The Clones, you never
noticed though because they were as convincing as the CGI.

May 19 or th 22nd, 2005.

dog_belch, you have read my mind. Bravo! I think Cunningham
will kick some ass, though. It won't be star wars. It'll be
something else. I love that guy.

The thing with CGI is, you're aware of the process of
filmaking, there's no suspension of belief, you're just
thinking how clever it is, or about Ewen McGregor talking to
thin air, and not engrossed in a film. The last two were cgi
overkill and the current period of filmaking will be looked
upon, in the future, as the SHITEST in history.
