laptops used to be worse, but now they are better. more expandable, really not much more expensive (the mobility is worth the small extra money you would pay), it's easier to upgrade, expand etc. they are win.

I doun't knouw whaut you are sauying. But, whaut isn't washable? One of autechre's few lexical communications and this is the sentence they come up with, forever paved into their audio sculpture. Well I suppose time isn't washable among other things, but is asking if something is washable ever a useful question?

This is also an important point: wash ( P ) Pronunciation Key (wsh, wôsh) v. washed, wash·ing, wash·es v. tr.
To cleanse, using water or other liquid, usually with soap, detergent, or bleach, by immersing, dipping, rubbing, or scrubbing: wash one's hands; wash windows.
To soak, rinse out, and remove (dirt or stain) with or as if with water: wash grease out of overalls.
To make moist or wet; drench: Tears washed the child's cheeks.
You need water or liquid to wash. So dry cleaning isn't washing.

Ok ok, I have consulted my own wonderful battered old dictionary that gets right to the most simplistic point without dicking around.
washable: that can be washed without being damaged.
It appears you are correct.
But now the english language lacks a word that means "that can be washed (damage being irrelevant)".
If I want to say that ants are capable of being cleansed using water or other liquid, but they will die in the process... I cannot say they are "washable".
