the funniest thing about anal cunt (aka A.C.) is that they put about 40 tracks on each album. Most are quick brutal ass jokes.

Steve Roden - Airria (hanging garden), second version
^ probably not the strangest thing in my collection, but anyway it's weird, unsettling/scary, definitely not the kind of thing you hear everyday, freely downloadable from here... and very good imo.
The Residents, Coil, Nurse With Wound have done some weird things, too. among many others.
try "Human Human Human" by Nurse With Wound & Organum.

in other news, Nurse With Wound IS strange... according to David Tibet (Current 93)... he will have a hip hop album coming out in the next few years, as he is obsessed with Missy Elliot... should be sweet... but i guess i'm still looking forward to his massive collab with xhol, jim o'rourke, cyclob, and whoever else it was...

funny all this attention to Missy Elliot. i remember thinking "one minute man" was the shit when i first heard it years ago, some dude was rocking it on his boom box one day at venice beach and it sounded sooo good to me. i've heard RDJ even mention her in interviews.

Well for me, I found the Yellow Magic Orchestra cover of "Stand Up" to be bizarre... or after listening to experimental music for a decent stretch, even John Denver sounds alien. It can depend on what you get used to and acclimated too, I suppose.
