music and life are different things, and it's very fine with
me. if music was really like life, i wouldn't be a
musicophile and i probably wouldn't even care about music
much...

movies, paintings, music, books etc. depicting the ugliness
of life just make me sick, i can't help but hating them most
of the time. i can just stand them when they're SO sick that
i can't relate and realize anymore, or maybe when they're
really, really well done.

when movies, paintings, music, books etc. depict the
beautiful sides of life, it's... ok, it doesn't make me feel
better about life nor anything though, i don't *need* this
to know the beautiful aspects of life. if a song has lyrics
about a good aspect of life, i'll like the song if i like
the music and i won't like it if i don't like it.

this said... i can find some songs that i can relate to,
about some parts of my life, and i like them; it makes these
parts of my life look more beautiful.

one of them is "How To Disappear Completely" by Radiohead.

Your life must be pretty bleak and monotonous! With the
occasional bloopy sound.
