anyone listen to the radio much? The UK has an amazing
radio station called Resonance FM which plays just about any
non mainstream music genre there is. I'm listening to
Underground Japanese music at the moment.

I reccomend you look at the archives for something you might
like, try starting with the Japanese underground music, a
lot of electronica/idm on that one.

Resonance 104.4 fm

the new BBC 6 music station is pretty good too, definately
the best BBC radio station for music, alternative music with
no britney, westlife or girls aloud.

I haven't listened to radio stations for quite a while but
there's nothing quite like hearing a great new track on the
radio wich you otherwise wouldn't have heard.

it's a pitty we don't ahve that kinda radio station policy
around here.
we have this local radio station called Radio Maestral which
was the best radio untill a year and a half.
the director got a job as a journalist for bbc and the
programme started to suck hairy balls.
so now i run my own radio show on Radio Pula, focusing on
what the resonance Fm is about.

here in the states... everything is owned by Clear Channel.
there is a list that the company puts out of songs that can
be played on their radio stations... you cannot play songs
that are not on the list.

college radio is ok, but most people are not open minded
enough to listen to new or different.

so everyone just stays happy and ignorant listening to what
they are told to listen to.

and Viacom is evil too. (although i like VH1 and Comedy
Central)

There's a canadian radio program called Brave New Waves
that's teriffic. For those in the metro area, it's on 89.9
FM The latest electronic, indie rock, hip hop and noise
artists are featured. Too bad it runs from midnight to 2:00.
Can't be bothered to stay up that late anymore.

i live near dallas tx, and there are no legitimate radio
stations... its either country, rap (not good hip hop),
christian, alternative (for 13 year olds) or rock (for 45
year old sabbath fans)

thats what i mean little lincoln has some great stations, a
varitey, and college radio

so i dont get it why large dallas doesnt have a better
selection, even thoguh most of its by CLEAR CHANNEL, they
should be able to get descent stations threre

???

It's rare that I listen to the radio. I like listening to
the Rsdio from time to time though.

Where I live almost every radio station is owned by one
company, so I'm sure you can guess what that means. Anyone
know of somewhere I can get a my free internet radio
station? I doubt my cable has enough bandwidth for more
than 10 listeners.
