I reckon it'll be Craig David after he was "snubbed" last year, although I wouldn't rule out either RW or EJ, they're the biggest "names" on there. I'm afraid that the token "alternative" Brit (i.e. to someone that isn't utterly utterly mainstream) will go to either the Gorillaz or The Strokes. |

And apparently there's going be 8hrs in total of programs on ITV covering The Brits so we should get to see something of him on mainstream TV... The Brits is ALWAYS awful one way or another. It's the most corporate, least relevant or respected of all our stoopid awards. They always pick things that are out of date, or people really liked a year ago. People usually get an award when they've done nothing all year 'cos the judges are a bunch of coked-out cigar munching f***wits. People normally get a lifetime achievement award if they're about to die. Craig David is dull and hasn't done anything all year, so he has a good chance. Elton has been rubbish for nearly 20 years so he stands a good chance. Ian Brown is indeed a MONKEY but doesn't stand much chance, unless he has a life-threatening illness we don't know about. Robbie Williams has got to be the dullest singer in the world, a Phill Collins for modern age, uuugh, he's bound to win. What the hell is Aphex doing in Male artist catagory. Why not dance. Why have bloody catagories anyway? The whole thing sucks anyway, it would be an insult if he won, he'd hate it... |
