ilkae was two people, krystian lubiszewski and aaron munson. aaron is in canada and the other im not sure about. released an album on merck. their "bring extra dragons" LP was meant to be on acre records along with boulderdash's "pro time killers", but ended up being released on merck instead. they have solo projects, aarons is called "vexion", and he has many EP's that were released via the inpuj.net label as MOD files (trackers files like .IT or .XM). not sure about the other one, though you can check www.discogs.com pistachio island was all mod file/tracker work, as was bring extra dragons. some of the most impressive work ive heard out of impulse tracker in general. ilkae is just one person now though, aaron. he's just self released a new album called "stained glass pinata" which you can buy through www.ilkae.com, which i have, and it is great. thats all i got. |

yeah i talk to aaron, did a remix for him long time ago. ive also released on inpuj, so its cool. he's in canada so it all depends on when he can get the post out i guess, mine took a few weeks, sometimes itll be longer. as long as you put the order in, it should arrive. just not exactly sure when. he sends them out in batches i think. you can email him and ask i suppose! |

"Pistachio Island" is one of the best IDM Albums ever, and one of my All time favs ! Its just so fucking great, even if the tracks are just 1 or 2 minutes long.... However, I wonder why krystian and Aaron "split" :( ? |
