Mark Ernestus & Moritz von Oswald the german duo that bring
us some of the most inspirational minimal dub soundscapes.
firts time i heard of em was about 4 yrs ago when i bought
richie hawtin's "decks,efx & 909" mix.
their music background has about 6 ep's and 3 albums ("The
Versions", "With The Artists","Rhythm & Sound")

it's almost impossible to find any concrete biography on
them...ever the Chain Reaction label doesn't have it,except
the full discography.

well, what do you ppl think of em?
i find their music very relaxing, inspirative and the
futuristic sound of digital dub/reggae.

i think i have two albums by them, it's pretty nice stuff. i
agree on relaxing part, but that's the case in whole dub
genre :)

yeah,true...what albums do you have?

i'm listening to the versions now and my fav is track 3 -
jah version.
a quick browse on discogs made me realise that most of my
dubby techno/house artists are really them two,but under
different aliases.

you're welcome :), but mind, there are quite many errors on
allmusic - especially when it comes to album release dates,
but appart from that it's pretty nice, especially when it
comes to recommending similar music/artists...

i think i browsed thru all of the pages that include their
name...the same thing was with boards of canada.

if you would have to guess where they're from i couldn't
tell they're from germany.
they have a very good knowledge of dub when they make such
tracks.

I like!

"King of my empire" featuring the amazing voice Cornell
Campbell is probably the best peace of minimalistic Dub i
have ever heard. It is so soulful ,spiritual, minimalistic
and deep.
