headphones

i absolutely love them. much more wonderful than speakers.
so lush and encompassing. plus some albums absolutely
require headphones. on the other hand, they cultivate
an enjoyable antisocial coccoon..

i got my headphones back from warranty repairs.. the
wonderful and delightfully cheap koss porta-pro. they're not
sennheisers or anything, and they look kinda weird, but they
deliver a very rich sound with superb bass. the ipod earbud
ones are also quite good. what do you use?

I tell you what's better than headphones though.

huge speakers and headphones!

you get all the rich brain pudding effects of the headphones
but also, the gut-bubbling, bowel-loosening bass of the big
speakers.

and none of the wall-pounding annoyance of angry neighbors
need be heard.

THIS IS FLAVOR COUNTRY!!!

i have the senn HD280s... sounds good and they feel very
solid/durable/comfortable etc...

i recently traded heapdhones with my friend who has a pair
of Grado SR80s (or something-80s anyway).... i knew they
were supposed to be better than mine because the HD280s are
closed, but i had no idea how much ive been missing.... they
sound a LOT better
even though they're really uncomfortable (they pinch your
ear and generallyf eel really crappy) the sound is so good
that it makes up for the pain from it squeezing my ears
they sound much clearer and sharper

Koss UR-20 :) I see now a lot of people with such on their
headz in Kiev. I Have soldered my headphones approx 10 times
now for they've been broken approx 10 times. Now I'm gonna
change their widely spread look with some of adhesive color
film, maybe red and green. But what for, since I use them
only at my job...

it will be sennheisers. question: open or closed?

answer: well that depends on blablabla.
