ok, heres the plan. Get a small radio, preferably with AM
and FM bands. Tune it to a station, detune it a bit untill
you hear white noise or faint voices/music. when you move
the station will fade in and out, and with a little luck
youll get some great noise modulated to the beats or talking
on nearby stations.

for extra fun, get more radios. Put them in your pockets,
and hear the noise change as you move around.

approach metal objects, or power lines!! its wild!!! and if
you use more than one (and are unable to use headphones)
people will give you weird looks too!

i was listening into the police and ambulance frequency one
night and they had the siren on and there was this noisy
interference that kept cutting in and out and it was
beautiful. i recorded a bit of it but i missed the best
part.

it would be great to do a live show on the train using only
transistor radios, giving the people something to listen to
after a hard day at work/school/etc

i think your idea is excellllent.
