i think this album is really great. its very rich with
sounds...plenty of all kinds of weird/wicked/organic
samples, great ideas...a bit confusing on 1st listen, but
grows fast!

his real name is jeremy barnes, for those that know him :)

some comments:
"colorful, distinctive and vigorously unique" abserb
"a small, and perfectly formed, masterpiece" plan b
"top rank fun-filled barminess" undercover
"exquisite...a creative whirlwind" flux

check his site , it's great...very much like his
album.

boomkat review & samples

i think qrter would enjoy this album...honestly. (im sharing
it :)

and i promise this will be my last thread this evening :)

maybe structure is a bit similar to that "sung tongs" (music
is different, but it has that same confusing feel to it),
although i like this much more.

the samples don't sound very convincing - sounds a bit like
a poor man's The Books.

but I'll d/l the thing from you and give it a good listen.
:)

hmm, i don't know the books all that well, so i can't
tell...from what i've heard i'd say is pretty much the same,
yeah, perhaps hacksaw is a bit more cheesy. i love the
accordion!!

cool :)

i'd say the books have kind serious feel to it, while this
one is more happy happy/funny kind of thing. maybe. ahh,
you'll see.

you'd be wrong in saying so though - they have very funny
things and kind of serious things.

ha ha I meant "quite drunk a few days ago"..

although being drunk for a few days never did anyone any
harm.

definitely...i've been having problems lately with finding
something likable...well, there's gang gang dance, that's
pretty much everything that sounds at least a little
interesting atm.
