Many of my workmates who have engineering degrees or computer degrees are great guys - decent, hardworking and have well paid jobs. Yet these guys are almost unmarriagable because of the attitude of females in their age group (28-33yo). Some have never had a girlfriend and I suspect are virgins. As a society it is a responsibility for these men who are productive to be married and having children, yet I see the opposite - all the women (even the educated ones)chasing after the unemployed bikers. Maybe it is time to go back to arranged marriages, because if we fuck over the good men who else is going to be so productive? |

yeah you do have a point. I'm not pro arranged marriages, but I can agree that most ladies (according to my experience) are into getting dominated by the men (and not being treated nicely; but really being dominated). Most of them won't admit it, but it's the way they like it. |

Women are the ones with the laundry lists of at least 20 unrealistic expectations. Women are very strict when it comes to the "requirements" for courtship and marriage. Men will be perfectly happy with a woman that looks like a plain jane. |

yeah, well it's important that some intelligent men and women are able to pass on their genes, otherwise humanity will be doomed eventually. ..but, just keep in mind that humans determine their mate on many things. it's not just females. in general, people want a mate who is suitable to them, and usually has similar aspects, features to them, or at least ones that are compatible. i'm sure there are plenty of women who would enjoy a nice introverted, antisocial nerd, but they are most likely one themselves, and it is difficult to make a pair-up when both are too afraid to acknowledge that they even could feel an attraction. i don't think it is up to society for these men to find a mate any more than it is up to an individual.. it's not really the role for us all to the match each other up.. it would inevitably suck all the life out of the process. it's your privilege or duty, then, to find a suitable mate out of the possible billions... that is, if you feel it would be beneficial to humanity for your genes to survive.. there, that analysis also distastefully elucidated the process a bit.. |

I have been single most of my life and I've reached this conclusion: Women like the men that they like. The idea that women tend to hook up with men somewhat lower down in the food chain is true, but only to a point. In their younger years, girls do tend to have an attraction to assholes. There are several reasons for this but a desire for social acceptance is key. Girls will seek out the company of boys who are popular in order to secure an elevated status among their peers. Among young women, competition for social status is heightened and much more aggressive in areas of deprivation and the desire to capture the attentions of the leading boys often ends up in high rates of teenage pregnancy. As girls mature the desire to acquire a higher social position becomes less and the importance of finding a partner who can provide security for themselves and their children is given greater significance. So, when they are young, most girls will seek out the assholes. The ones who mature will move on, usually to older, better educated men who themselves were overlooked in favour of assholes when they were younger. The ones who do not mature and/or lack education will hang on to the assholes. It's worth remembering that lasting partnerships between individuals with quite different levels of education and/or intelligence are very rare. |
