many times have i believed arch carrier to be the theme of
knight rider. i remember having downloaded the night rider
theme at work and playing one after the other.

think of it as an homage. it is sad that the most
complicated melody by autechre (or any idm act, really) is
an obvious tip of the hat.

I see the similarity but I'm not entirely convinced.

I can plot world domination to Arch Carrier all night long

But it does have the same pulsing bass (in the form of
strings) when I listen to em back to back.

Give me an mp3 link to a track which you deem has non-cheesy
strings or die by my steel.

oh you meant strings.... orchestra like fake strings always
tend to be cheesy for my ears and my brain...that detail
kinda ruins the track for me...

oh shit this theme... it's famous. Busta Rhymes,
muthafukking Panjabi Mcs openly used it. There are parallels
between Arch Carrier and this theme, but not close, as for
me..

It's quite good, the strings in the background really are
cheesy and the melody isn't their most complicated at all,
it's just an arpeggiator.

Whoa that knight rider theme kicks ass.

Yeah, the strings could go in Arch Carrier, they are
verifiably cheesaayy.
