Eating some gel tabs at my friends farm, completely away from any form of civilization.....the most remarkable sights i have ever seen. Check this out - I had just gotten into SAWII at the time and i brought it along. All day the weather was cloudy and wet. We were all sitting there at the barn looking out at the trees and stuff and i put on rhubarb. No lie, the sun came out for the duration of the song, and sure enough went back behind the clouds when it was over. The sight was the most beautiful thing i have ever experienced. All of the noises from the birds and the bugs all blended into the song so perfectly it gives me a chub just thinking about it...sigh i wanna go back there,,,and back to the farm hehe. |

once, I didn't sleep for two days cuz of the last settings of a live act we (my friends and I) were about to perform... we played all night long, came back home, sat down a second... when one of me friend, took a little box on a table, and showed us it's content... Fresh Hawaiian Shrooms, man... he said. he prepared them, and we ate all the shit... Man, i think, i never seen something as wonderful as those hallucination i had... And i think i never ever laugh as much as this day... |

Having never done any illegal drugs bar weed, I have come to the conclusion through observation, that drugs merely make people think they are having original and deep thoughts. If you talk to someone on acid when you're sober they talk shit and repeat themselves. The nearest to a drug fuelled state I've been in was a trip to ireland where I didn't sleep for about 56 hours. I didn't have any coffee or anything, I just stayed awake. That got a bit weird towards the end. |

when you're under drugz yu try to keep a clear way of talkin to other people. sometimes it's easy, sometimes not... you get more confusion then. you can't even talk sometimes... Some people just let go, others try to keep talkin'. when yu're sober, yu have to be cool with those people, cuz their mind is weakened... I almost make a man being mad cuz i just said he was boring... he fell on the ground and cry... begging us to call his mum (he took to much acid this night). |

top 3: 3: Shrooms; Listening to Kyuss 'Sky Valley' for the first time on an obscene amount of mushrooms, seeing a tropical jungle in my head and living there for the rest of the album 2: Acid; Me and two mates on acid, panicking so much we decided to drive 6 miles into the town centre to see a heroin addict as it would calm us down (!) and my friend driving, noticing a parked police car with two cops in it, losing control of his hands and trying to crash into it. 1; Ecstacy; One time I took so many I went out of body, and travelled forward in time. I was one hour in the future, and I was lying unconcious in the same spot and all my friends were crying, phoning an ambulance, which arrived and started emergency procedures on me. I went back in time, stood up and vomited in the toilet for about ten minutes. Either that or the time I saw every working organ in my entire body |

I did acid once, ONCE, and I saw a lot of little sparks jumping around on the carpet. I was afraid to stay on the floor, so I hopped up onto a coffe table, and it broke under the strain. So I obviously fell back on the carpet and was rolling around in the ''sparks''. Can't remember what happened after that. Haven't done it since. I have a personal vendetta against it. (not because of the sparks, that was ok) |

I read a recent research article by a psychiatrist who reckons that personality is defined by the joins of tree like nodes in our brains. Drugs switch some of these joins about, permanantley altering memory and personality. |

Now : drug experience Acid : listening to AT thinking me * my mates where in a sub in the Atlantic plus (same trip) skimming across the Pacific in a canoe Haweii 50 style Watching multicoloured aztec figures dance all over my bedroom ceiling. Carpets, lovely swirling carpets. And the sounds!!! |

Caffiene is the worst of em all! (next to nicotine I guess) Regarding the personality thing, I think every moment we are a slightly new person. Every miniscule experience we have has a slight effect on who we are. When we experience something intense, like the death of a family member, or pschedelic experience, of course the shift in our personality is going to be intense. I think it's key that this is important to keep in mind when toying with the trips; very shaky ground those hallucinogens. |

i have done a fairly good amoutn of drugs in the last few years. i have had a lot of bad experiences and a lot of good ones. most of them changed me in unspeakable ways and a few i still believe were just trips. i cant smoke pot anymore because it brings me back in time when i was taking it to get away from eveything that was hurting. the only drugs i still do are alcohol and pcp but i wouldnt say no to mushrooms and acid. its just that i dont have good contacts for good hallucinogens. |

Another good one was when about ten of us took e's. We were walking down to a club, and we split up to take a piss. I came out of the bushes and my friend John was there. We saw some blokes about 50 yards away, but it was dark and we couldn't see em... as we got closer, it got clearer and John said "There's Ben and Andrew look" and I saw them, and I said, "Yeah look, Vince is with them..." and we got right up to them and their faces changed and they were three other boys we were out with... me and John looked at each other at the same time and went, "AAAARRRRGHHHH!!!!" |
