Have y'all heard about the Low box set? It's gonna kick ass... July 19th, £16.99 from amazon which is a freakin bargain IMO. 50+ unreleased songs and a dvd of docs, videos, etc. Can't wait :) |

i think a large part of it is just how the vocals are produced... very airy... ethereal... Alan Sparhawk reminds me a lot of Glenn Donaldson, who works in a lot of projects in the Jewelled Antler Collective... you might want to check out ... kind of a free-folky type thing, but when i hear him singing... i hear sparhawk... plus well it's cool and all... |

i like low, i saw them live too this year and they were very good.. small crowd, they stuck around and we got to talk to the band after. i got a tshirt! |

the only thing i've heard is a session they did for John Peel that i taped - sounded v. good. i really like the song "in the drugs". liked the session version better because it doesn't have the big snare drum that goes "BOSSHHHH!" in it (that the released version has). |
