The answer to the question in the topic of this thread is FUCK YES. Goddamn, they kicked ass. Funky as hell with weird instrumentation and tons of energy. The indie hipster crowd pissed me off a bit but I still had a blast. Go see them if you get the chance. |

im happy that they are a good live band, they are playing on roskilde festival in about an week.. i thought id check them out.. ive only heard small peices of the latest album and it didnt sound very good, but im glad to hear that theyre a good live band! |

hell yeah!, luke vibert aswell! prefuse73, lfo and a couple of others! i dont know any of those above very well but ive heard theyre good so im quite exited. did u get to see squarepusher last year ? i saw him and i dont belive any of those could beat that! it was an experience like no other!.. and yeah, u aint gonna miss Avril!! shes gonna rock =D |

They didn't piss me off because they were indie hipsters. They pissed me off because they were dancing a lot and bumping into me constantly and didn't seem to notice or care. So I moved back so I could just nod my head and enjoy the music. |

i haven't heard "louden up now" but i've got their first album on GSL and i really like it. if you haven't heard them, the fact that they're on warp won't necessarily mean that you'll enjoy. but i think that they're much better than a lot of the "cool" punk funk bands at the moment. the album "!!!" has a very live feel to it. it leads me to believe that they would be a good live band. as have reviews of their gigs i've read. they be playing at the leeds festival in august, so i'll definately check em out there. |
