That PS2 controller... is that used as something like a mini
midi controller? Or is it connected to a PS2, and if so, how
is your PS2 used for music? I have one and wouldn't mind a
new tool for my music.

Anyways... mine's a computer and a midi controller... not
much more to be said about it....

You have a lot of... stuff, but is your room really that
blurry? That would hurt my eyes every time I walked in
there.

My garage contains :
(The Atari ST isnt there for now.. but the monitor still
is..) but theres an original Commodore 64 sitting in its
place.
next is the Amiga 600HD with sampler.
next to that is the Commodore 64-C
and next to that is the horribly yellowing Amiga 500 on a
green screen! : )

all this blastin' out of a pioneer amp.

I'd love some shelving.

I'd post the Krampe studio, but I don't have a digital
camera.

I can, however mention what is in it (roughly).

3 or 4 guitars (acoustic + electric)
behringer v-amp
line6 guitarport
a computer (reason + acid + soundforge + madtracker +
goattracker)
behringer eurosumthin'sumthin small 4-channel mixer
roland xp-30 digital synth
i have a commodore in a cabinet, but it was easier to get it
over to a recording device through goattracker, so I use
that (the commodore will be saved for live performances (if
they'll ever happen)
technics sl1210 mk2 (only one, and no mixer yet, so...)
some strange vocal microphone.. really good at the price we
got it at (discount 1/2 price)
an electric bass
a didgeridoo
two mouthharps
a fingerpiano from africa
a coconut with rice in it which is broken
a djembe
too many wires

parachute studio 1

parachute studio 2

parachute studio 3

for there´s less beercans in those pics (and more ashtrays)
the related music sounds very different than that posted
above: example

easy trick: instead of spending your money on a high end
notebook, buy 5-7 vintage analogue synths that aren´t
fetish in any way (but sound great whatsoever) so you can
afford them over the years. this strategy will make your
studio look very big and impressive. though with this
equipment you might not be able to join partytalks
containing words like "latency", "asio",
"hardwarecontroller" etc.

well, thanks for the tip, but the point is i must have the
money for the notebook first, then i could make decision
that i want to buy synths. HA

I don't have a current picture, but imagine a laptop, two
nord modulars, a K2000R, a juno-106, an MC-202, an akai hdr,
a pair of tannoy reveal actives, an sh-5, a behringer mixer
and finally a rack of external fx. All fitted into a corner
type computer furniture thingy.

If you want something truly flexible and fun, then go for
the Nord Modular G2. It's alot easier to connect to your
computer since it has USB. The old Modular requires 4
MIDI-ports. One for the editor and one for sequencing.

My second choice would be the Nordlead3. I don't know that
much about the Virus. I tried the C version at a store once
and the filters were really great. I just like Clavia's
stuff more.
