I disagree, only Jews would think his tracks are too short.

Let me guess. You're not a Jewish gentleman.

I think its rather ridiculous to say that someone makes
their tracks "too short". Stop thinking that things have to
be a certain way for them to be acceptable. I hope he makes
an album of 30 second songs.

not slandering prefuse. i'm sorry for saying anything bad
about your lord. next time i'll be sure to be more polite.

i have not heard them, i like short songs thou, i think too
many ppl are making the longest songs posible these days,
it's like "longer the better trend" and yeah, time doesnt
really matter, u can allways set a track on repeat..

may i ask what style Prefuse do ?

im gonna see them/him/her.. on roskilde festival in a week
=D along with lfo, vibert and a couple of others..

Prefuse makes serious music for serious young men. *FACT*

I kind of agree, he often seems to be onto something but
doesn't quite take it anywhere entirely satisfying, like Hot
Winters Day. 2mins30 is borderline too short for his style.
His best tracks are the longer ones like Storm Returns,
Detchibe, Choking You etc

The shorter, the better. I wish more artists would keep
tracks under 4 and even 3 minutes the way Prefuse does, I
love that. Makes me want to come back for more. Too many 6-7
minute tracks don't have the chutzpah to justify their
length.

Some of the few long tracks I like are by front line
assembly/noise unit drill.
