ive got a ford fiesta (one of the newer ones) and im going
to be fitting a cd player. but the car has a wierd 2 dock
tape player and i dunno how to get it out or in fact how to
put one in.... any ideas?

make a hole with the hammer. put the radio in. you dont need
wires to make it working.

you'll have to get a casing for the head unit that takes up
2 spots if this is what you are talking about

i'd do some research online or go to a store that
specializes in it.

Most car tape players and things have these four small holes
round the outside, which you can stick matches in to unlock
the unit.

Dunno if you already knew that or if it's of any
relevance!?

I've got a Ford Capri - And putting a CD player in would
probably involve a hacksaw and a lot of toilet paper.

Sounds like you have to get a "spacer" to fill up the unused
space from the tape deck.
They usually arent too expensive
