God i hate its name! And i was never intrested in it, until one of my friends showed me that it has an audio appegiator, mmmm. Lots of integregated fook around stuff in there i can mess around with. Should i buy it? |

you want if ONLY for the arpeggiator? even the least complex synths and programs have that.. you just have to look for it. |

i think its really worth the small amount of money it costs, not for an arpeggiator thou, theres many other "better" reasons to get it |

more interesting is the "bleepmap" in which you can turn images into music! circles give an exceptionally nice result! |

i havnt used the bleepmap more then about one time.. just checking it when i just got fl.. thanks for reminding me, im gonna draw alittle later today =D |

try an outlined white circle on black background and some blurred white around it.. that gives a nice "sierra-adventure" sound (at least it did for me...) |

cool, i havnt used it much at all, but now i will, very interesting.. ehm, i asume it wont read any really complex pics very well ? well, im not good at drawing circles and squares but luckely theres a circle/square tool =D |

complex pics.. depends.. i think black = silence and every other color is a sound, so a 800x600 image with almost no black will be a massive wall of sound! |

ill see what happens, is far as i know the resaults get pretty abstract and organ soundish.. i asume that i could make something pretty cool by making a nice pic, use it through beepmap in a nice way, then export as a wave, and edit, cut and stuff in it to make something really interesting.. |

If I can track it down I'll post the sound I got from the outlined circle-thingie.. it's really cool, and even though it doesn't sound like it, it is the same sound both ways. |
