has anyone ever seen someone playing wineglasses? You know
when you fill a glass up so much, if you rub your finger
along the edge in a certain way you can get this note, like
a bell sound... well in Germany I saw this misses playing
these wineglasses... she was a master at it... playing
classical pieces and shit... and it was gorgeous stuff... if
she had a cd for sale I would've bought it in a second...

some music maker here should sample some sounds from that,
or play them themselves... it'd be cool! :)

I can do it pretty well, but I never got anything good from
it apart from the wild party trick.

"Hey guys, check this out"

*eeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee
eeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee
eeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee
eeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee*

Crazy!!!!!

i've sen it done a few times. if it's done well, it's
great.
if not it's appalling - rather like the violin - you need a
master to control the shrillness.

saw a documentary years and years ago - just a little
10minute segment on sume music show - where bjork was
hanging out with a glass-rubber. she was interviewing the
guy & saying how much she loved the sound.
had totally forgotten that.
