Listening to Inches, their singles collection - great
stuff. I'm not musically literate enough to say what it
sounds like with any kind of authority, but it reminds me of
The Clash as reinterpreted by Afghan Whigs, perhaps... if
only all "indie" music had this much spine and vehemence!

Oh oh, is this a quiz? Because I use the word "indie" to
describe recent music with guitars that is (mostly)
deliberately non-mainstream. So that could be anything from
Neutral Milk Hotel to Ted Leo to Deerhoof. I don't have a
trucker cap and a ringer tee. If you're gonna school me, do
it. :D
