It's pretty rare - I thought I had it for a while! Cos I'm a hypochondriac. They can now detect it on an ECG - They used to look for long QT syndrome, but now they look for subtle random changes in heart rhythm (I memorize stuff like this). Anyway, it's rare - About 1 in 7000 (I think) who are at risk - Unlike cancer which is 1 in 3(!) - MS is 1 in 1000 - Psychosis is 1 in 100 - Which is pretty high! |
