he appeared on wfmu (the best radio station i've ever
heard) a few days ago and gave an extensive interview. he
talked about RE-TG, the murder of Brian Jones, his new
Pandrogyne project, commercialism of music, and more.

you can listen to this fascinating interview, by clicking
here. streaming only - you'll have to fast
forward about half an hour in before he starts talking to
the dj.

genesis was a founding member of Throbbing Gristle, Psychic
TV and Thee Majesty. he recorded an album with skinny puppy
called Puppy Gristle. he has appeared in pigface, but i'm
not sure which albums.

and of course, he was part of the Coum Transmissions, and
co-created industrial music. he's a very influential and,
in my opinion, important artist.

I saw the Throbbing Gristle live show a few weeks back in
London, it was funny, disturbing and really good!

And he has like a brick through his bell end, or something.

Someone shouted 'Get your tits out!' as soon as he came on,
and he just said 'Fuck off', that sounds crap but it was
funny at the time

I'm not a huge fan of Throbbing Gristle, or his tits, but
Psychic TV- Force Thee Hand of Chance is stunning, and has
one of my 5 favorite songs of all time on it.

i recommend listening to this interview - one of the most
interesting interviews i've ever heard.

plus, they play a new, unreleased throbbing gristle song, as
well as an apparently extremely rare demo of jimi hendrix
with brian jones and noel redding, if you're into that sort
of thing :)

I have one of those countless Psychic TV live albums, in
Reykjavik, it really is great and I should have bought more
but i enjoy just the one.

Sorry, i read an interview with him once and the interviewer
mentioned that Orridge, in the course of the conversation,
popped his "old chap" out and there was a huge ring through
the glans with a weight attached to it, that's what always
pops into my mind when I think of him, though I didn't see
it myself (thankfully).

oh that's funny! haha... he flashes this dj in the
interview apparently, but there's no mention of piercings.

''a huge ring through the glans with a weight attached to
it''

YURP
ARGH
EGHEOO
NERGH
MHRAAW

And now that's what I'll think of henceforth.

Does anybody have the link to the eulogy kind of deal he did
for Ian Curtis a while back?
