cold? or hot?

what kind of climat do you prefer?

- Well... i kind of prefer cold... 'cause when you are
too cold, you can always warm yourself up in some way... But
when you're too hot, you can't do much about it unless you
have air conditioning, or a damn fan that blows fucking hot
air into your face, and that over a night, gets you
completely sick..... ha ha :)

i agree with you totally about the warming up/cooling down
thing

but I must say I like warm weather better, because its so
much easier to be depressed in the cold.

Cold for sure. Nothing better than soup, toast and a massive
jumper when it's cold and raining outside. That nice wintry
sunshine when you can see your breath is best, though.

i've done both -- spent a little over half my life in
israel, and the other half in canada. the weather in israel,
overall, is better -- but i'll take -40 with bitterly cold
winds and snow drifts anytime over 40 with peak
humidity. it's unbelievable -- not a dry, desert heat but a
suffocating stench that opresses the lungs and weighs on
your soul like a pile of bricks. it becomes impossible to
think, to do anything, walking outside and everything is
suspended to a near halt. the cold, at least, energizes you,
makes you feel vital and aware.

I like inbetween....ya know 70's. It depends for the most
part....I mean I think I prefer cold weather, since you can
always put on more clothes to stay warm, but if it's hot
out...you can only take off so much. :] Though...it's nice
when there's a couple really hot days, since that makes
swimming oh so better.

Definitely cold. It's nice going from a hot place to a cool
place (patio to damp basment for example), but going from
cold to warm (snowstorm to fireplace equipped with hot
chocolate) is even more satisfying and comfortable. And warm
usually equals ''sunny'', and my snow white skin can't
handle that stuff.

i really don't know.

in one of my dreams i was in a bathtub in the open air, and
around me it was nature being in winter and summer at the
same time. cold and hot, green leaved trees and snow...
pretty strange.

I like it to be hot. Right now it's cold and wet. But I like
that too. Can one truly decide between such things? I hope
Chihiro is keeping a tally of all these polls he's making.

what i know is that i like wind, and hate lightless blank
depressive skies that make you wish for a perpetual night
instead. (other skies can be so beautiful...)

also i love snow, but hate iced grounds...

and i prefer either a forest- or jungle-like, all green
nature, either one with dead trees covered with snow. not
that brownish in-between limbo.

waow!!! strange coincidence... No, im not Greek... I've been
living here for 5 years... i moved here 'cause of my
mother's job.... But i won't be here much longer... im
hoping for a year at most... Im not too happy living here...
But i make the best out of it... hé hé :)

im Swiss/Belgian btw... :)

Crete is quite far away.... The furthest island ... hé hé.
I heard it was one of the best places.. Great beaches... ;)
haven't been yet. But hoping too one day :)

Athens is a shithole. Aghia paraskevi is kinda ok I guess
compared to other parts of athens at least, but seeing you
are from switzerland or belgium it must seem shitty at
least. Crete is supposed to be beautiful and all that but to
tell you the truth:
a)I live in Heraklion that is a worse dump than Athens
b)I haven't been to any other place around here because I'm
a lazy slob.
But it does get a hell of alot of tourists so they may know
something right?

offline Chihiro from twins land on 2004-06-20 20:11 [#01249184]
Points: 4650 Status: Regular

yeah... i think that Athens is quite a shithole.... i
agree.. hé hé. Full of people.. which im not too fond of..
i like small towns with a normal quantity of citizens... hé
hé. and the pollution, plus stressfullness of the whole
thing doesn't suit me. But o well... i've been through this
depression phase about it... But im over it now... i know
that my main goal is to get out of here... hé hé... ;)

i heard that Crete was nice from local people.... they
seem to have enjoyed their time there.... but i would like
to see it for myself. If i ever go there. i'll let you know
through a thread i guess ;)

Do you chat on msn?
