I was shifting through my local record store's usually shit collection of indy punk and old 80's synth pop records hoping to find something...anything that might pique my interest. I did Wedged between a Thrush Hermit record and a Dead Kennedy's record was drumroll.... Gantz Graf priced at $8 canadian! I laughed to myself and picked it up, smiling all the way home. |

Good find! Gems like that always wow me, not only because of the music itself but because of the circumstances it was discovered in. It adds a strange sort of oblique emotional happiness to the whole package. *thumbs up* :) |

oh and i also went to a jazz/funk record shop in sydney, and found ae's ep7.1 and ep7.2... there were no prices on them, so i goes "how much for these" and he's like "give me $5 for them both" (baring in mind i'd already clocked up 150 on other records) i asked him what they were doing there, and he's like "i dont know, but i do know theyve been here for a couple of years, and im glad to be rid of them, i hate em" well there ya go! |
