Scott is the king! Wicked run of albums in the late '60s,
and by fuck if I don't love his Wall of Sound arrangements
to death.

Scott Walker is also an underrated winger on the Nashville
Predators.

I love Scott Walker. The Walker Brothers music was dope.

I really like one of his last albums, if indeed it wasn't
his last album, "Tilt". The song "Farmer in the city" is
just, well, blimey.

He's back in the studio at the moment.

He wrote two tracks for Ute Lemper's album 'Punishing Kiss'
a couple of years ago which were very Tilt-y, so I reckon
the new album will be too.

Hard to decide which album I like best - it's a tossup
between side A of 'When the band comes in' and Scott 4

You have a bloke called Wally Stott to thank for those
wall-of-sound arrangements. He's an excellent orchestrator.

i just lately discovered his voice. strong, massive,
...maybe it's because that reverb ?

"it's raining today" is one of those songs that can ....what
is the phrase ? rip you in two, or break you into pieces or
tear you apart.

Brendan Perry from Dead Can Dance once pointed at Walker as
one of his greatest influences. I can hear why, especially
on Perry's solo album.

thanks gruntels and axion for showing me the guy. i'm now
going to dive into his 1-4 albums.
