The_Funkmaster from Newfoundland, Canada on 2002-01-12 17:08 [#00068799]

they work fine for me...

/-T|K|R-\ from the start on 2002-01-12 17:13 [#00068801]

sennheiser

Jedi Chris from Tatooine on 2002-01-12 17:33 [#00068807]

wht from hhhaagg on 2002-01-12 19:17 [#00068846]

i'm buying these: AKG K-301 for about 80 EUR.

any good?

djfony from HI on 2002-01-12 19:25 [#00068849]

Im wearing my mdr-v600's right now... some of the best I've
ever owned. Cost about $90 but worth every penny :)

bumblefuk on 2002-01-12 19:34 [#00068853]

you gotta get phones in which you actually hear the bass,
and crank it up without blowing out the earphone speakers.
i've been scared so far to spend over $50, scared i'll break
them.

Frothbottom from New York on 2002-01-12 19:47 [#00068860]

Sony MDR-V600

umbriel from quebec...the old on 2002-01-12 20:37 [#00068882]

i have really shitty headphones that went with my really
shitty cd-player. but i keep borrowing my dads headphones to
actually compensate the crappyness of my cd-player...
sennheiser hd 435 i think? they cost a lot of money but they
are really hideous, like purple and yellow. i look like a
fucking alien when i wear them.

umbriel from quebec...the old on 2002-01-12 20:39 [#00068884]

....and i forgot to mention, yes, they really are good. i
love them. when i bought drukqs, i listened to it with those
headphones and it was MAD. the bass comes out really well
but the treble and every other sound too.

Ophecks from Nova Scotia on 2002-01-12 20:40 [#00068886]

Mine are Sony... um... headphones. They emit sound waves,
which stimulate my ear drum, resulting in pleasureable
vibrations which give the sensation of ''sound'.

AMinal from toronto, canada on 2002-01-12 20:41 [#00068887]

i saw an ad in the newspaper for these wicked headphones
that were
$1000 dollars canadian!
i dont remember what brand they were though..
i use sonys too, i dont remember which model exactly, but
they were pretty cheap, like under 50 can.

Jarworski from Wales on 2002-01-12 21:06 [#00068907]

Definitely Sony

titsworth_courier from washington, dc on 2002-01-12 21:38 [#00068926]

ALWAYS $30 Koss 'phones.

bumblefuk on 2002-01-12 21:43 [#00068929]

heh, thats what i got, my 30 dollar Koss, I can play em loud
and, drop em, and they still work. i've bought 3 different
sony $50 and under, broke them all rather quickly.

titsworth_courier from washington, dc on 2002-01-12 21:58 [#00068940]

one time i bought this $30 pair of aiwa headphones. i used
them about 3 times. complaints:
-wayyyyy too tight around the head no matter how you adjust
them
-NO BASS WHATSOEVER
-too bulky looking when you're walking around

they're just sitting under my bed collecting dust. maybe i
should sell them on ebay or something. someone might like
it. it has like a 12 foot extension cord, mute button on the
headphones, silver color, etc.

Monoid on 2002-01-12 22:02 [#00068942]

Don't buy cheap HEADPHONES, theyll ruin yar listeinig
experince !

The_Funkmaster from Newfoundland, Canada on 2002-01-13 06:05 [#00069053]

heh, I used to use my old gameboy headphones... I used those
for years... then I moved up to a 5 or 6 dollar pair, and
then finally I bought some Sony ones... and these are
good...

Stone from San Antonio, Hell, U.S.A. on 2002-01-14 03:39 [#00069529]

corc from new zealand on 2002-01-14 08:00 [#00069604]

sennheiser

Kalaim Badkaama from France on 2002-01-14 08:13 [#00069607]

I worked for sennheiser few years ago...
I took them some stuff, really nice shit, they got. I sold
everything, it dissapeared like popcorn in a cinema.

Ceri JC from My house in Pontypridd, Wales, UK on 2002-01-14 10:24 [#00069647]

I used to use original gameboy (red and blue earpiece bands)
headphones too. I now tend to use microsoft gamevoice
headphones at my PC. The bass isn't bad as headphones go and
the treble is superb. I know people will say they're crap
just because it's M$oft, but they really are great.

Fresch from Trondheim, Norway on 2002-01-14 10:26 [#00069649]

I use Sennheiser HD 470...really comfortable. And perfect
sound.

vssd on 2002-01-14 10:36 [#00069652]

What's the difference in sound quality between open and
closed headphones?
