yes but if no contact, can it be called friendship? maybe, just being 'not enemies'... i used to have some friends I would like to meet again, more than a year ago... seems we're not to meet again.. I'm not sure that they even think of me sometimes.

funny as in strrange. such a complex mixturre of feelings and tests etc...
i don't know about anyone else, but i went thrrough a point when i was youngerr when i felt that it was impossible to trrust anyone. it's too easy, i find, to overr estimate my rrelationships with people. i give too much of myself.

where does the family fit in?
In Italian you use two seperate words for love. For those whom you really love, family, girlfriends you say 'ti voglio bene' which translates to 'i need you so much' whilst if you say 'ti amo' it translates to 'i love you'. the latter is reserved for a lesser love. Thsi makes so much sense now. It never did before.

I definetly relate at the moment nacmat.
It's times like this when you realise who your real friends are - I just feel so lucky to have even one person who really cares and empathizes with me like that.
I've only met a few people in life who I feel I'll have a real unbroken bond with all my life - I think that kind of friendship definetly lasts forever... But it is rare...
Deep down I really do believe you keep reincarnateing with the same few people, to pull you through the hard times.
With my real closest friends, I've always recognised them on our first meeting - Always had a sense that they would be important in my life - And I've always been 100% right about it.

''FRIENDSHIP!!!.....
friendship!?''
Rock.
I dunno, friends are OK, I suppose. There's nobody I'm particularly close to, and nobody I want to bother befriending, but that's just the way I am. I go out of my way to avoid people, but that might because of my environment... the kind of people I'm interested in simply do not exist where I am.

It depends what you class friends as. For many people a friend is just someone they know who isn't an enemy. Personally I have to have some sort of emotional bond to somebody before I call them a friend.
You probably have people who would be there for you in a time of crisis that you don't currently consider as friends but are really in the truest sense.

i very much believe in friendship allthough i think it is really rare to have a true one... My best friend ( and will probably stay my entire life) is my brother which is actually even more than a friend to me... .... So yeah... Hard to find true friends.....
But once you have... hold on to 'em/him :)
