they are alright, they have some good tunes. saw them live
at glastonbury last year. they are cunts though, no
mistaking.

The album is growing on me slightly. The guys vocals are
still pretty ropey, though. The jury is still out on this
one, i'm afraid

yeah, the vocals are shoddy. 'black dollar bills' is a great
tune, you just feel that the vocals detract from it.

Yeah the vocals do sound out of tune the WHOLE time...but on
most of the songs on the album they have hardly any vocals
on them anyway.

Why are they cunts tho?

yes why? what are they like? can you compare them to some
other band?

not verry good, tolstoyed. musically speaking they arre much
betterr (orr have the potential to be much betterr) than
otherr NME bands of rrecent times, but the songs arre just
not verry strrong. the lyrics arre poorr and whiney and the
singerr just can't contend with the music. imo, of courrse.
i can't rreally think of a bad to comparre them to.

therre arre rrarre moments when you think the album is going
to take off, but it doesn't ultimately. thank God i didn't
get the special edition.
