It's not really a common thing in Britain to do driect bank
transferals. Especially over the internet where it involves
giving specific bank details.

I think it exists.. not sure what the right term is though.

it'll probably be quite expensive to do though. he'll
probably ask you to pay for all the costs.

Don't you have bank cheques (us version: checks) you could
pay by?

meaning, I've ordered some books from Belgium a few months
ago and I did make an international bank transferal - there
are quite some administrative costs that need to be paid.

and that was within the European Union, so that would be
cheaper than overseas.

why not use an international money order? go down to your
bank and get one. i think they cost a few euros though

Well nacmat:

a) It does seem expensive for the CD unless you really
really want it.

b) A cheque can normally be issued by a bank against your
current account. Basically it is just like a personal money
order type of thing.

c) If you really want it and you are having trouble sorting
out a payment method with him, as a last resort I would be
willing to send him the money here and you can paypal me the
money instead. But try to come to an arrangement with him,
because I wouldn't want to get involved in any shit if he
decides not to send the CD etc.

no, dont worry.

I dont know if I can go backwards now and break the deal.

I think I would be fired out of ebay

and I want that cd

I just thought that cd went for more money other times

I don't know how much it normally goes for. I just know
that personally I wouldn't pay that much :)

See whether your bank will issue cheques. Failing that just
see if the seller will accept an international money order.
There shouldn't be too many problems with that I don't
think.
